Handcrafted on the wheel in a brown stoneware clay body, this yunomi-style cup is shaped, trimmed, and finished entirely by hand. The interior is coated with a food-safe transparent glaze, while the exterior remains matte and tactile.
Each piece is fully microwave-safe, and hand washing is recommended for longevity.

Story
This yunomi draws from Kasuri, Japan’s iconic Ikat tradition known for its gently blurred motifs that look as if they are floating in cloth. The scattered marks and softened edges echo the characteristic “kasuri-boke” — the intentional feathering that gives the weave its rhythm and breath.
Translated onto clay, these quiet, imperfect silhouettes become meditative surface moments, pairing beautifully with the warm brown clay and russet glaze lining.
