Glaze Application workshop is a 2-day (4-5 hours/day) workshop, conducted after students have completed at least their first level in Potter’s wheel or Handbuilding. Participants should have 8 to 12 pieces of bisque ware for the workshop.
Dates: Tentatively 21-22 Feb (for Weekend batch) and 16-17 Feb (for Weekday batch)
Timing: 10 AM - 2 PM or 2 PM to 6 PM (to be determined as per convenience)
Class strength: 5 students

What you take away

Inclusions
- 8-12 hours of dedicated instruction to make you comfortable with using dipping and brush on glazes
- Eight plus dipping glazes provided with more than enough quantity for dipping pieces properly
- 3-4 brush on glazes provided to apply on two pieces at max
- Usage of equipment required for glazing
- Upto two shelves worth of glaze firing for medium sized pieces under 6 inches height
Exclusions
- If you are not able to fit your pieces on the two shelves provided: Firing charges are Rs.600 per shelf for medium sized pieces or Rs.100/piecefor a medium sized piece under 6 inches. Prices/piece vary as per size. Each shelf can accommodate 7-10 medium sized pieces.

Terms
Missing or Postponing the Workshop: No refunds will be provided in case you are unable to attend the workshop. You can choose to join another workshop scheduled by us at a later date. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Unable to Finish Work: If you are unable to finish glazing and finishing your pieces within the given time, you can come for another extra day (10 AM to 2 PM) at a charge of Rs.1000/day for the additional usage of glazes and space.
